Holy Cow!

Holy Cow!!! It has been some week. We have had fun working bega kwa bega (shoulder to shoulder), with our friends at Mudio. We have worked in the coffee fields, made bricks for the new maize mill building, helped with grounds keeping at the church, played with the Kindergarteners, and cooked and cleaned Tanzanian style with the women.

Yesterday, we visited Kishare Primary School, then went to Exaud and Victoria's home. There, we received an amazing gift - our very own COW!! Her name is Nebraska, because she was born when the Kimaro's learned they could come to Nebraska. Since we didn't think she'd do well on the plane, we opted to leave her at Mudio parish. We believe she will continue to live happily with Victoria and Exaud, but any money they make from her milk will be given to Mudio-Sheridan parish. That is a tremendous sacrifice on their part, and a tremendous lesson to us about honoring the Lord with our gifts.
