We arrived in Tanzania on Friday night around 9:15 to 85 degree heat. We were greeted by some people from Mudio Parish including a brass band and dancers. It was a great greeting and everyone has been full of love and hospitality here.
This morning we visited Ushirika wa Neema Deaconess Center. It was awesome to see how a little spark has really spread to the community through these women. After that, we visited the Kiborloni Market. What an experience! There were people everywhere selling things from shoes to pinapple.
When we arrived back at Uhuru Hostel the other group from Sheridan that went on the synod trip was there to greet us. It was nice to see familiar faces.
We hope everyone is doing great back home! Thanks for the prayers!
I will try and do pictures later but the computers are pretty slow. We are too blessed with high speed internet!
